Description	You come to learn and we will provide you with a healthy and delicious lunch!   Barbara Malinowski, the Infection Control Coordinator at Brandywine Hospital, will talk to us about C-diff and other bugs of interest. C.difficile is having a major impact on healthcare. It causes 500,000 infections each year resulting in 30,000 deaths and costing the healthcare system almost $4 billion a year. How do we acquire C.difficile? What are the risk factors? How can transmission be prevented and how is it treated? What are the other MDRO's (multi-drug resistant organisms)? Reservations are a must!
