Daniel H. Selassie, M.D., board certified in family medicine, has joined the medical staff of Brandywine Hospital.
Dr. Selassie graduated from Sidney Kimmel Medical in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and went on to complete his residency in Family Medicine at Inspira Medical Center in Woodbury, New Jersey and also at Cabrini Medical Center in New York, New York for Internal Medicine.
Since 2004, he has served in the United States Army as a primary care specialist for active duty and retired military service men, women and their families, earning several medals of honor for his clinical performance in the United States, and for his tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. Two of his proudest accomplishments include providing care for 780 plus injured soldiers with a history of deployment in less than 10 months and overseeing the successful daily Ebola screening of 1,063 personnel that redeployed from West Africa.
Dr. Selassie provides evidence-based, comprehensive and compassionate health care to patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics and has a special interest in disease prevention, health promotion and musculoskeletal conditions. He is committed to educating and empowering patients and family members by providing them timely and pertinent health care information and options.

Dr. Selassie will maintain office hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Brandywine Family Practice of Exton located at The Baxter Business Center II, 495 Thomas Jones Way, Suite 100 in Exton, Pennsylvania.
